Project 1: Audio Editing
INSTRUCTIONS
Exercise 1: Audio Dubbing
1. Download the muted video clip and google DOC.
2. Import video into Premiere Pro;
3. Record all the dialogue with your phone (text provided in google doc), make sure is lip-sync.
4. Search online & Download all ambient sounds/Sound effects needed (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1AxG8mXG3w1O5GZb3pSIoxW2zN47ml49THyFaPwg5SbU/edit).
5. Import all audios into Premiere Pro
6. Place all audio clips on timeline (A1, A2: Dialogue; A3, A4: Sound Effects; A5, A6: Ambient sound)
Exercise 2: Sound Shaping
We were told to use the audio clip provided and edit the following effects.
- Voice of phone call
- Voice coming from inside of the closet
- Voice of big stadium
- Voice of toilet/bathroom
- Underground cave
Exercise 3: Sound Design
We were told to use the audio clips provided and edit them based on the following:
- Explosion magnification
- Variation of punch sounds (triple punch)
- Monster of alien voice (select one part from sample voice)
